HPH show at RockStar Sports Bar - 6/29 with Nademural and In Vain and Vengeance

So I guess this news section will turn out to be a sort of semi-blog thing..... because I will be doing most of the updates here anyway.... so I thought I would comment on the show Friday.
First off, I would like to thank the other bands that played with us that night, Nademural put on an excellent show, someone told me they are from Bridgeport? is that correct? anyway those guys are cool, their music is cool and their crowd is cool also. I liked em when they didnt have a bass player and they are way better now. In Vain and Vengeance was also very cool, we enjoyed their set and hope to see them around again soon.
I also want to give props to the other bands that came out, Mike, Josh, Fuzz and John from 8th Circuit came out, and Billy and Cody from HedKase were also there.
So I think 100 Proof Hatred got started around 11:30 or so after jacking with the PA for awhille ...it finally got started. We actually played every song we know, including 2 covers... "Lifer" by Down and "Snap your fingers" by Prong. people seemed to like it..... we've never played a cover live before.... I havent got to talk with everyone about it.
For me the best part of the show, was when Donnie's friend Trina brought Chad a drink and I whirrled my drunk ass around without seeing her and shattered her drink with my ring. Sorry Trina, I will make it up to you, I promise.
My recollection gets really hazy from here on out...... I remeber Jess from the Irish Pub drove my truck back to the jam room. And thats it...... my next memory is waking up at 1:18 PM on the living room floor at D & D's with my old friend the stuffed fox looking at me.
